A magnificent response, the best for years.
Next year I'm 60 and we'll go for 60 diners!

Quotable comments after the 2002 Dinner: 'It was good to see some old (ancient) faces!'
'It is good to meet up with old mates in such a familiar and pleasant environment - and to ponder which of us is getting crustier!'

From Our Colonel in Chief at Clarence House, we received:
Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother greatly appreciated your kind message of loyal greetings.
The Queen Elizabeth sends her best wishes to all members of 6th (Volunteer) Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment Officers' Dinner Club and hopes that the 20th Dinner being held on Saturday 2nd March 2002 at Blenheim Camp, Bury St Edmunds, will be a most enjoyable occasion.

Hon Sec: The Queen Mother was not at all well when this was sent. She died on 30 March 2002.
